This was a good family/childrens movie that paralleled Harry Potter. A good book; Eragon, was followed by the movie, which wasn't as good as the read but decent. It is a tale about a teenaged boy and his dragon that he stumbles across. He is thrust in a world of turmoil before he has a chance to catch his breath, and the movie carries you along for the ride. A good story, but to get the most out of this movie I suggest you see it before reading the book.
I'm not really sure what I am supposed to do exactly here. But pretty sure it would be a smart thing to make a comment on a movie right?
I basically would like to express my love in the movie Blood Diamond. It was the most amazing movie I have ever seen. I am a female so it is a bit odd, because that movie is full of action.
But, the thing about the Blood Diamond is it is based on true events that have happened and that still happen today in Africa. Its so sad because kids are basically brainwashed to murder villages filled with women and children, some of which are their own families.
Leondardo Dicaprio is amazing in this movie, so completely compelling with his character. You hate him and love him at the same time. Each character in this movie is so remarkable and has an icredible story and is each so unique.
I'm not really sure what else to say about this movie, but every single second of it is amazing! It gets you to appreciate life so much more and have a better understanding of how much people suffer in other parts of the world.
You will most likely cry, laugh, get angry, and just have a changed heart! So go see it! :) :)
